Trina Solar introduced its n-type Vertex 595W module for ground-mounted utility-scale installations and distributed projects towards the middle of October. The Vertex series is stated to offer high efficiency, high power output, high power production, and high reliability, while decreasing the BOS expenses and LCOE of solar projects.

In August, the business claimed that their large-area Vertex n-type i-TOPCon module had a record aperture efficiency of 24.4%.

The mass manufacture of the next-generation Vertex n-type module will commence by the end of 2022. Trina Solar will construct 10 GW of n-type module production capacity by Q1 of 2023. According to estimates, the capacity will reach 20 to 30 GW by 2023’s end.

According to the figures compiled by Trend Force, 210mm cells and modules have swept the market with a high growth velocity. In the first three quarters of 2022, global shipments of 210mm cells and modules totaled 50 GW.

Trend Force also anticipated that by 2023, 210mm product manufacturing capacity will increase from 46% to 57% of the market share. The organisation predicts that the proportion of 210mm items will rapidly increase to 66.04 percent by 2025.

In the first three quarters of 2022, Trina Solar shipped a total of 28.79 GW of modules, putting it second in the globe. It has also supplied over 2.8 GW of trackers and 300 MWh of storage facilities, according to the company’s financial report for the third quarter.
