A new home energy management system from Schneider Electric that includes a battery, an inverter, a smart electrical panel, and a charger for electric vehicles has been introduced. The home platform tracks the amount of energy used by each appliance and lets consumers use their backup power for longer in the event of a blackout.

Additional savings on energy costs are made available through net metering and similar utility-level schemes thanks to the home energy management system. Also, it might improve a household’s chances of being eligible for a tax credit.

The French expert in energy management claims to have simplified the process of generating, storing, measuring, and controlling one’s home’s electricity supply.

According to Nadege Petit, executive vice president of innovation at Schneider, “homeowners may now create their own energy and smoothly switch between power sources to optimise cost.”

Five different house components make up the Schneider Home platform, which works to combine energy resources and digital capacities.

Schneider Pulse is an electrical panel that has built-in technology, functionality, and intelligence. This makes it possible to connect multiple sources of energy.
Schneider Boost’s energy storage battery stores solar electricity during the day and releases it at night to prevent blackouts and lower monthly utility bills.
The high-power hybrid Schneider inverter transforms DC solar power into AC power that may be used in homes and businesses.
With the help of local solar and storage, the EV charger at Schneider Charge can charge more quickly and for less money.
Schneider Home is an app for your phone that lets you track, control, and automate your home’s energy management system.
