Solax Power has designed new household micro string inverters. According to the Chinese manufacturer, the X1-Mini G inverters are compatible with heat pump systems and residential EV chargers.

There are eight variants of single-phase inverters ranging in nominal output from 0.6 kW to 3 kW. They are compatible with PV system input capacity ranging from 1.2 kW to 6.6 kW.

“The low starting voltage of 50 V guarantees that the X1-MINI G4 can generate power for a longer period of time, hence increasing client profits,” the firm explained. In addition, it offers Modbus for parallel solutions that may be extended and DataHub for mass management and extension solutions.

The inverters have a 98% efficiency rating and a 96% to 97% European efficiency rating. Maximum MPPT input current is 16 A, and maximum MPP voltage ranges from 40 V to 550 V. The inverters measure 290 mm 206 mm 120 mm and weigh 5,2 kg. In addition, they include IP66 protection and a cooling mechanism based on natural convection.

“The X1-MINI G4 is designed for exceptional dependability since it has an integrated AC/DC Type II SPD and an export control feature,” stated Solax Power. “It also enables I-V curve diagnostics, an external Rapid Shutdown Device (RSD), and optional ARC detection (AFCI) to provide comprehensive operating safety.”

The Chinese company just started selling its X1-Boost G4 home inverters, which have nominal power levels from 2.5 kW to 6 kW.
