JinkoSolar Gives Guangdong 25 Sets of the SunGiga C&I Energy Storage System.

JinkoSolar said that it had sent 25 sets of its liquid cooling C&I energy storage systems (JKS-215KLAA-100PLAA) to Xiaodong Renewable Energy Co. Ltd. in Dongguan, in China's Guangdong province. Together, these 25 sets have a total capacity of 5.375 MWh.

The 25 sets of JinkoSolar’s SunGiga liquid cooling storage system (ESS) in 5 industrial parks, along with green energy, help keep the grid stable. Also, the high price of energy during peak hours in Guangdong Province causes businesses to spend a lot of money on electricity, so these 5.375 MWh goods are a key part of reducing peak demand and making up for valley demand.

The SunGiga C&I ESS from JinkoSolar is a collection of batteries with capacities ranging from 200 kWh to 2 MWh that can be used for two- to four-hour uses. The answer includes lithium-ion batteries, a power conversion system (PCS), an energy management system (EMS), and a fire suppression system (FSS). This makes transportation, installation, and operation and maintenance (O&M) easier.

SunGiga, the new generation of liquid cooling C&I ESS, was made with “Safety, Smart, and Easy” in mind. Because of its advanced technologies, the SunGiga has a liquid-cooling battery system that allows for precise temperature control and temperature differences between cells that are no more than 2°C. This makes the batteries last longer and charge and discharge much more efficiently. It has a complete safety design, from the level of the cell to the level of the whole system. AI-assisted cell tracking uses high-precision online calculations to figure out the state of a cell and sends early warnings to stop thermal runaway. There are five stages of tracking and control systems to find any problems. This product is usually made with the perfluoro fire safety device. So, it makes sure that the system is safe in many ways.

Also, the automatic state of charge (SoC) tuning and automatic water refilling system cut operation and maintenance (O&M) costs by a large amount.
