A 7-kilowatt system is now priced at Rs 825,000, down from Rs 100,000. Similarly, the cost of a 10-kilowatt system has dropped to Rs1.125 million.
A 12-kilowatt system now costs Rs1.4 million, while a 15-kilowatt system costs Rs1.6 million, following a Rs200,000 drop.
Solar panel costs rose by Rs75,000 to Rs300,000 last month as demand increased.
Last month, the cost of a seven-kilowatt system exceeded Rs920,000. A 10-kilowatt solar panel system cost Rs 1.25 million. Similarly, the price of a 12-kilowatt system was Rs1.6 million, while a 15-kilowatt system cost Rs1.8 million.
