JinkoSolar breaks the world record for N-type TOPCon-based perovskite tandem cell conversion efficiency.

JinkoSolar has reported a significant achievement in the development of their N-type TOPCon-based perovskite tandem solar cell, attaining a new world record conversion efficiency of 33.24%, as confirmed by the Shanghai Institute of Microsystem and Information Technology. The newest efficiency beats the company's previous record of 32.33% for the same type of cells, marking the 26th time it has achieved a new global record.

The accomplishment indicates TOPCon’s compatibility as a mainstream cell technology with next-generation perovskite/silicon tandem cells.
