Despite facing multiple hurdles, the global solar PV market demonstrated strong momentum in the first half of 2025. Data from PV Infolink shows that the top ten module producers collectively shipped 247.9 GW, representing a 10% year-on-year increase.
JinkoSolar emerged as the clear leader, recording an impressive 41 GW in shipments. The company’s latest innovation, the Tiger Neo 3.0 module, is expected to see rapid adoption worldwide, especially in the distributed generation (DG) segment. With front-side output ranging from 650 to 670 Wp and bifaciality levels of 85–90%, the product is positioned to deliver both high efficiency and reliability.
Industry analysts note that such advances highlight the growing competitiveness of next-generation PV technologies, which continue to drive down the levelized cost of electricity (LCOE). As market demand expands across both utility-scale and rooftop sectors, the performance of companies like JinkoSolar sets the pace for the broader industry.
