Profitability, safety, integration, and operation and maintenance (O&M) costs are always top priorities for stakeholders when selecting the best C&I ESS. The SunGiga is intended for the 250kW mainstream market and is available in 2-hour and 4-hour configurations. The SunGiga was pre-commissioned collaboratively so that all parameters were defined before leaving the manufacturing base, reducing onsite commissioning time and ensuring early revenue for project owners.

The SunGiga has a smaller cell temperature difference within 2.5 Celsius degrees thanks to the patent-pending liquid cooling technology, increasing battery life and greatly boosting charging and discharging efficiency. The liquid-cooled system also greatly reduces thermal management energy consumption when compared to the typical air-cooling design. The automated state-of-charge (SoC) calibration and coolant refills significantly lower operating and maintenance (O&M) costs.

Battery system technology prioritises safety above all else. SunGiga by JinkoSolar provides complete safety design at the cell, rack, pack, and system levels. AI-assisted cell monitoring technology computes cell state in real time and gives early alerts to prevent thermal runaway. Electrical risks are mitigated by five layers of protection. SunGiga additionally has a flammable gas detection and ventilation system, as well as an additional water-based spray suppression system.

The ESS liquid cooling system, SunGiga, outperforms the competition in terms of flexibility and performance. With more people interested in utilising ESS, solar-plus-storage is becoming more popular in the business. JinkoSolar’s C&I-optimized solar-plus-storage combo solution will ensure cheaper power pricing and energy security.
