LONGi Green Energy Technology Co., Ltd. has once again secured its place in the S&P Global 2025 Sustainability Yearbook (China Edition) — marking the third time the company has earned this recognition for its exceptional performance in environmental, social, and governance (ESG) practices.
Out of over 1,600 Chinese companies assessed by S&P Global, only 164 made it into this prestigious publication. LONGi stood out for its strong commitment to sustainability and responsible corporate governance.
🌍 ESG Excellence & Progress in 2024
In 2024, LONGi significantly advanced its sustainability goals, achieving many ahead of schedule:
- 🟩 Increased use of green electricity to 47.5%, helping avoid an estimated 2.5467 million tons of carbon emissions.
- 🟩 Achieved a 37% reduction in Scope 1 and 2 emissions, and a 26% cut in Scope 3 emissions compared to 2023.
- 🟩 Invested 370 million yuan in environmental protection, with zero environmental violations across operations.
- 🟩 All production sites are now certified to ISO 14001 environmental standards.
🔋 Global Product Certifications
LONGi’s green impact isn’t limited to China. In 2024, its silicon wafers, solar modules, and hydrogen energy products received a total of 53 global carbon footprint certifications, covering France, South Korea, and the International EPD system.
