LONGi, founded in 2000, is a global leader in solar technology. The company has been committed to monocrystalline technology for a long time and hasn’t changed its mind. They were right to think that if everyone used it, it would cause a big change in technology across the whole PV sector. LONGi makes monocrystalline silicon wafers and modules, supplying solutions for distributed and ground-mount power station systems, enabling the growth of the global PV sector and driving the energy revolution. The company has 15 manufacturing bases and more than 30 branches worldwide. For a number of years, the company’s shipments have been among the greatest in the industry, and in 2020, it became the first manufacturer to ship more than 20GW of modules in a single year. LONGi’s continued high investment in R&D is a major contributor to its success, and the firm has been rapidly adopting new technologies and processes to large-scale manufacturing, achieving substantial advancements in cost management and efficient product creation. LONGi was the first Chinese solar energy company to join the RE100, EV100, and EP100 projects in 2020. These projects were made to promote zero-carbon solar and sustainable development.
