This year, the BFA sees “green energy” supply as a crucial metric of “green hosting” and a window into China’s successes in “Dual Carbon” efforts. For the first time, nearly 2000 representatives from over 50 nations and regions will see and appreciate the “Green Boao” accomplishments.

LONGi Green Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (LONGi), one of the world’s top solar technology firms, delivers a total of 3.88 MW of building-integrated photovoltaics (BIPV) products (LONGi Roof & LONGi Park) for the permanent venue in Boao Town, according to official BFA numbers. LONGi has fully exploited the BFA’s existing roofs and façade, replacing them with a distinctive “New Skin” using ecological technology and energy-saving enhancements.

The Boao Zero Carbon Demonstration Zone on Dongyu Island is the first national international forum zero carbon park jointly constructed by Hainan Province and the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, as well as a green development benchmark project with worldwide clout. It is also one of Hainan Province’s six iconic projects.

Dongyu Island contains a little forest area with a land area of roughly 1.78 square kilometres. As a consequence, LONGi’s solar module products have become the “New Skin” of these landmark structures on the available rooftops and open spaces of the island’s Hotel, News Center, and Parking lot, giving green electricity and security to the Boao Forum for Asia on a continuous basis.

To fulfil the “Zero Carbon” target and make the buildings in the tiny village more beautiful and dependable. LONGi carefully examined the interaction of photovoltaic and architectural space. They created items such as solar roofs, glass curtain walls, photovoltaic power generation glass, and photovoltaic power generation railings that flawlessly merged photovoltaic products with the building while also diversifying photovoltaic application possibilities.
