Growatt has introduced its brand new SPF 6000 ES Plus inverters, which are designed specifically for use in home off-grid solar power systems.

According to the manufacturer, “The inverter’s string input current reaches up to 16A,” which makes it suitable with big power PV modules with a rating of 500W or more. “The inverter is equipped with twin MPP trackers, making it suitable for homes that have numerous rooftop regions. This allows for panel installation in a variety of orientations, which leads to increased energy production.”

The inverters that are 6 kW in capacity have an efficiency rating of 93% and a surge power of 12,000 VA. In addition to that, they have an input voltage of up to 500 volts and an input power of 8 kW of PV.

The inverters have enclosures with an IP20 rating and have dimensions of 460 millimetres by 395 millimetres by 132 millimetres. They weigh 15.5 kg total. Their operational ambient temperature may be anywhere between 0 and 50 degrees Celsius, and they come equipped with an inbuilt automatic transfer switch (ATS) and two AC connections for the input of power.

According to the Chinese company that manufactures inverters, “in terms of performance and reliability, the new product has a power factor of 1.0 that allows the system to draw a power output of 6kW for the loads and 2kW for charging the battery when solar energy is sufficient.” This information was provided by the new product’s power factor. It also eliminates defects caused by excessive dust by adding a dust-proof design, which increases product dependability, makes maintenance easier, and extends its operating lifespan.
