Renac Power has developed new household PV single-phase hybrid inverters. The Chinese manufacturer of batteries and inverters has defined the N1 HV inverters as high-voltage devices with superior efficiency and dependability.

A business representative informed pv magazine that the hybrid inverter supports 150% excess PV power.

According to the business, they are compatible with current on-grid inverters of any brand and may run without batteries, which customers are free to instal. Four variants of the inverters are available, with power outputs ranging from 3 kW to 6 kW. The gadgets measure 506 by 386 by 170 millimetres and weigh 20 kg.

The efficiency ratings for the new goods range from 97.42% to 97.50% and from 97.15% to 97.20% in Europe. The maximum power point tracking (MPPT) voltage range is 120 V to 550 V. The maximum PV power input for 3kW inverters is 4.5 kW and for 6kW devices it is 9 kW. 600 V is the maximum input voltage.

The inverters have an operating temperature range of -35 to 60 degrees Celsius and IP66 protection grade. TUV Rheinland certifies them for the European market, whereas INMETRO certifies them for the Brazilian market. They contain lithium-ion batteries with voltages between 80 V and 450 V and a maximum charge/discharge current of 25 A.

“The RENAC hybrid inverter is very adaptable and can be used in a variety of home circumstances by selecting from its five operating modes, which include self-use Mode, force time use mode, backup mode, feed-in-use mode, and EPS mode,” the business explained.
