The iF Design Award is one of the most important design awards in the world. Out of more than 10,000 bids in 2023, only 0.7% were chosen. The PowerTitan stood out because it did a great job of meeting factors like shape, function, idea, effect, and being different.
The style was so unique that it impressed the judges. PowerTitan from Sungrow is the world’s first “3-in-1 integration” technology that uses power electronics, electrochemistry, and power grid support technologies. It has built-in installation and movement, flexible operation and maintenance, smart detection, and temperature control technology that uses liquid cooling. These things make the market more efficient, safer, and flexible.
Rarely does the iF Design Award go to an industrial object like a big outdoor cabinet. Because utility-scale ESS has to put safety and reliability at the top of its list when dealing with tough conditions like high salt spray and windy, sandy places. It is hard to come up with new ways for products to look and work and to use new methods and materials. The fact that the iF Design Award went to the PowerTitan shows that the design of utility-scale ESS products has hit new heights. So far, nine gigawatt hours of orders for the PowerTitan have been signed by Sungrow around the world.
Sungrow is a well-known hub for industrial design, and its products are made to solve users’ issues. Sungrow is working on a lot of different things, but one of the main ones is energy storage. The company is in a good situation for more growth in the structure, form, thermal management, and user experience of ESS. This makes sure that the company is competitive in all areas, including having a great look, being easy to use, and being safe and efficient.
