In order to provide a strong technological basis for a successful grid connection, JinkoSolar has specially modified the modules for challenging maritime circumstances. Advanced design and materials are used in the modules’ engineering to improve power density, efficiency, and minimize deterioration. They are perfect for dealing with exposure to seawater, high winds, and severe temperatures since they also include dual-glass, semi-tempered glass, and POE encapsulation to resist moisture and salt fog damage.
Offshore solar technology has long been a priority for JinkoSolar. According to tests conducted from Jinko’s base in the Putian, Fujian, coastal areas, TOPCon modules provide 1.58% more power per watt than P-type BC modules, increasing sea area utilization and offering dependable assistance for offshore projects. This project is expected to save 503,800 tons of coal and save 1.34 million tons of CO₂ emissions when it is fully operational. It will also generate 1.78 billion kWh yearly, which is enough to power about 2.67 million inhabitants.
