The Top manufacturers’ yearly shipping goals have surpassed the overall market demand, which has left less room for later firms, as seen by the latter’s lower shipment volume in the second quarter.
Thanks to its strong brand advantage, JinkoSolar was able to reclaim the title of “top seller,” shipping 44–46GW of modules in H1. According to certain distributors, Trina Solar is more proactive and uses its own channels, while JA Solar is more preferred for pricing. In the meantime, the battle between Trina Solar and JA Solar is growing more intense with evenly matched shipments throughout the period.
